It's my most favorite time of year - Halloween! Unfortunately, it's been extremely hot here in LA lately - three days of triple digits - UGH! Instead of an October full of sipping hot apple cider in our sweaters, we were painting witch's hats and playing skeleton Jenga in our undies! What to do...anyways, we're still trying to get in the spooky spirit over here, so here's a little glimpse into our Halloween decor and activities this year!
My favorite - the black and white Halloween Mantel!
This year I loved sticking with the black and white theme - usually I go for full on color in orange and black! I followed and example of how to make these cameo locket silhouette pumpkins on Country Living, and made one for each of my kids! There are the main focus of my Halloween fireplace mantel!
Here are a few more shots of the mantel decor!
I love these three dimensional sparkly bats!
We have a little haunted house that lights up with characters all around it. It sits by our front door and the kids love to move the spooky figurines around every day!
Count Dracula welcomes you in the front door!
Here's a shot of our front entry door lit up at night! The plug-in pumpkins are from Target and are super inexpensive!
I love these fun little ghosts - another inexpensive banner from Target. It decorates our entry way - aren't they cute?
I decorated our bar cart a bit as well! It's even stocked with Halloween-themed wine - Zombie Zin and Skeleton Chardonnay!
Eyeballs, skeletons, and tombstones, oh my!
Our favorite buddy, Skelly has a place by the TV. Every day he seems to find a new position...he even made it on the toilet once!
