EEK! My Spooky Mantel Round-Up

Halloween is my jam, and today I've curated a list of some of my all-time favorite Halloween mantels for some inspiration for you all. From modern & minimal, to whimsical, to down right freaky, I've got 'em all!

I love the simplicity of this black and white mantel. I always gravitate towards color, but this mantel really hits the nail on the head (or maybe the nail in the coffin!) I recently just spied a bunch of white pumpkins at our local grocery store - go pick yours up before they sell out!

Entertaining With Emily - My mantel from last year!

This was my Halloween mantel from last year. Since then, I've added a giant framed mirror up above my mantel and I can't wait for this year's display!!

Do you own any illuminated marquee letters yet? If not, do yourself a favor and get some. I love how they stacked "BOO" on some old books as well! The gauzey ghost banner is also for sale on the Grandin Road website. I also like how they filled the bottom of the fireplace with pumpkins on pedestal stands.

Mantel from Lilian Hope Designs

I just purchased my first large "skeleton" for my Halloween displays this year, and I can't wait to see what kind of trouble he gets himself into around our house. My kids are enamored with him, with my youngest calling him "Skelly."

I guess I'm on a skeleton kick! I love how the folks at Meadow Lake Road covered Mr. Bones in cobwebs! So easy to do, but it creates a great effect! The jar of "bone powder" is also hilarious!

Even though this is from a few years ago on PBK, it's still one of my favorites! This year I purchased a big cauldron similar to the one shown and I can't wait to incorporate it. Notice how the flames are carved into the pumpkins Genius!

Halloween can be classy, not just creepy, as illustrated in the above mantel from The Decorated House. Simple elegance wins out every time!

I love the asymmetry of this beautifully designed mantel from Erin and Todd. The branch with the black crows sitting on it is divine. Rats on a pumpkin? Sure, why not!

Now I know this isn't a mantel, but I'm obsessed with these witch legs from Grandin Road. This is how you might find me on my front porch near the end of October with all of the craziness going on here this month!

Happy Mantel Decorating everyone!

Cheers!

Emily
